Hi,

My client would like to export data (customers and products) to Excel. Is this possible?

It depends what you want to do with the data and the frequency of extract

CSVI is a good start, but you can write your own MYSQL extracts

You can use the application "Store Manager for VirtueMart" to do this task - http://virtuemart-manager.com/

I would use the free version CSVI or develop your own reports using odbc and excel - they are very flexible and do not require third party software (other than Microsoft LOL)
