Hello,
I try to find the settings for resizing category images in VM3, but with no success. Is there any option for that
[attachment cleanup by admin]
the display sizing is simply done by css in the templates
Good practice (i.e. the professional way) is you resize and edit your images THEN upload them
Hi,
Thanks for replay. So you mean: there is no other settings option for resizing the category images. So I can resize the thumbnails only global (for products and categories) not only for categories? Than I should make first the image size settings properly for categories, than I upload all category images.Than I should make the properly settings for product image size and than upload all products. Is that correct?
the thumbnails is a global setting - you set it to the largest you will need - and resize down in your templates if u need differing sizes
OK. Thank you! So when I make the biggest images size and than I resize it to smaller and smaller for each category I hope that the VM will not resize my all images automatically
why? - the browser can do it just as efficiently...
you would end up with a Wordpress mess of dozens of versions of images all thrown in a folder
Ok, but look my site : http://baron.bg/
and look the origin demo: http://demo.virtuemarttemplates.net/joomla3/inspire/
How can I make my category images to look like on the demo
Sorry - I'm not in the business of coding your template -- what has your question got to do with VM image sizes?
this forum is for advice about VM - not how can I get my website styled .....
@kiro789 you are asking for support for a commercial template. We cannot provide support for commercial extensions here, you should ask the developer for support, if you can get hold of him.
