Hi Guys,
I am hoping to get a support from you on this urgent and frustrating issue. After hours and hours spent on building the shop today I got the following message when I tried to continue with shop editing: "Fatal Error in maincontroller admin.virtuemart.php: Couldnt find file editshop". This happened when I added a picture to the shop description in tinymce editor if that might be somehow related? Currently when I click on SHOP it opens the page and then the whole thing freezes completely. Will I have to start from scratch? Please help :(
Virtuemart 3.0.2, Joomla 2.5.27.
Regards,
Ok, I have sorted it somehow but not directly and this is definitely something that the VM developers should look at closely as it might be a bug. I managed to access the shop description via phpMyAdmin and edit the description field from there (in table: x0q5e_virtuemart_vendors_en_gb). This has resolved the issue and I can now access the shop edit feature. What was interesting to see was the high number of "\" (backslashes) that appeared in the "description" and "terms of service" fields, there were 1000's of them. Why? How? No idea, I'm just a user with zero programming knowledge :)
Best regards,
OK, I got this error today too, after adding a few images. This is the second error issue I've gotten after adding images to products -- the first was colossal and the whole template had to be reinstalled.
Anyway, for this error, editing the database didn't help in my case. I had to go through FTP and delete all the images I uploaded, because I didn't know which was the culprit. :'(
What is going on with adding images to products and all these random errors? Is there a specific format we should be using? Should there be no spaces in the title of the image (I actually read that somewhere)? I mean, what's the deal? I want to avoid future errors.
Any guidance would be MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

and best practice should always be for ANY filename.. no spaces, plain letters and numbers, underscores or dashes
