Title: How to allow customers to change components selected for product (computer sys)

I want to use VM for an online computer supply shop. Cannot figure out how I can let the customer make changes to a pre-defined computer system (ie. if they want to select a different video card, add more ram etc).

Am I able to do this sort of function or do I have to add different versions of the desktop system as products?

Good to know. Any idea if there is a demo somewhere or an active site I could look at?

That is close. I'm looking for something more like:

Are you familiar with Product Builder for Virtuemart? I can't tell truly from the demo if it works similar.
