I am changing the path for the images of each product, so they have their own location.
e.g. images/stories/virtuemart/product/product1/subproduct1/
images/stories/virtuemart/product/product1/subproduct2/

Then I create the product and upload several images. After the product is finished, I synchronize the images.
After that I change the path for the second product, and sync again.
I open the first product with still the path to the second product in the configuration, and VM shows an error that it could not read the thumbs. I cancel the product edit and the thumbs are gone on the front product page and backend product page.
This cannot be right. This goes beyond any logic.

Thank you, but like I mentioned before, this does not work:

I am not able to see any images when I search for it in the Product Images Tab.
