I feel stupid, couldn't figure out why I couldn't update to VM3, and it was because of that tar.gz format. Had to compress it to .zip. Thanks.
I tried the "Install or if necessary update tables" because of some errors I got, but I get this:
Fatal error: Cannot pass parameter 1 by reference in /var/www/html/website/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/install/script.virtuemart.php on line 508
Any idea?
