Hello,
in germany it is mandatory for virtual products (such as downloads) that the customer agrees on the product page the right of withdrawal before he can add the product to the cart. Is there a solution for this problem? Maybe with a checkbox plugin for product attributes?
Tanks in advance.
Best regards
Alfred
There exists different solutions
One is that you do only B2B, then you do not need it. OR use vm3, and just copy the tos field and tos.php. Or write a ticket.
actually for anything exists a solution, the question is if it need to be gratis.
It's a public shop for common users (B2C), no B2B. At the moment a migration to vm3 isn't a solution, it isn't my decision.
What do you mean with "ticket"? A support ticket?
I realize that for everything there is a solution, but it would have to be that this issue was ever treated in any way.
And no, I do not expect a "free" service. If I integrate it, it is ultimately not free.
Best regards
Alfred
The german law doesn't require in any paragraph that the 'Right of withdrawal' (Widerrufsbelehrung) has to be on the product page. It's sufficient if you display that in the shopping cart and ask the customer to confirm it there.
Note that you will also have to implement these regulations: http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/taxation/vat/how_vat_works/telecom/index_de.htm
The lawyer of my clients say that, not me. And they want it is implemented. But this aspect will not be discussed here. It is about the technical feasibility and whether it may already be for a solution.
