I tried using the site's full installer of Joomla 2.5 with VM 3: I was able to install and reach the control panel, but when done, I see these messages:

Install Virtuemart first, click on the menu component and select VirtueMart
and whatever I do related to Virtuemart, like clicking either of the 2 available buttons ("Reset all tables and do a fresh install" or "Reset all tables and install sample data") or clicking any other VM-related option yields this message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file, expecting function (T_FUNCTION) in /home/content/12/12345678/html/subdirectory/administrator/components/com_virtuemart/helpers/vmtable.php on line 479
I tried to install VM 3 alone via the CP and also got an install error. Any ideas what's wrong?
