Title: Admin place order on customer behalf
Post by: Marttyn on December 01, 2014, 10:43:53 AM
Im using VM 2.6.6 and ive seen on the backend that there is an option "Allow Administrators to change the current Shopper" on the configuration page.
I think its for the admin to log in on behalf of a user and place an order.
I cant see how i can do it. I would like to place orders on behalf of some of my users. Sometimes someone call me and make an order, so i introduce this order myself for them.
Can someone explain how to do it?
Regards!

Hello,

In know this is old and have looks many times myself on how to do this.

You have to login to the front end as an admin account, add stuff to your cart then, show cart. At the top you have the option to switch to a different user.

Thanks Mike!
Ive switched to "VM Invoice" component, that let me customize many many things. Also can create manual orders very easily.
I recomend to everyone!
