I'm relatively new to Joomla and Virtuemart and I am hoping this is going to be a quick fix. I'm working on updates for a friend's website http://mackdaddysinc.com (http://mackdaddysinc.com) - you will notice how the products look like the are on a hardwood floor background. I have created categories since we have added quite a few new products. However, the layout/design looks completely different - can anyone help me make both the storefront view and category views look the same? Here is an example of what I'm trying to fix... http://www.mackdaddysinc.com/store/original (http://www.mackdaddysinc.com/store/original)
Joomla version 2.5.7
Virtumart version 2.0.6
you have to find an image and place it behind the cateory div ..
replace http://www.mackdaddysinc.com/templates/beez5/images/wrapper_bg.png
but this is more html 101 than a VM question
it is just styling
the image on the frontpage is BTW far too small to use

And the Joomla/VirtueMart versions are dangerously out of date! Test the updates on a backup copy of the site.
Thank you very much! Yes, I am just taking over this site and I'm so glad I did - thanks again for your reply and I'll try to get this resolved - thank you!
Ok so after attempting to look into the style sheet I realized... I have no idea what I'm doing with this. In the virtuemart dashboard I can select the "Category Browse View" but even if I change the layout and/or template nothing changes. Categories pages still look the same. How do I copy the style of "top ten" (which is on the homepage with individual background images) and make it look the same on the category view?
by coding your template... if you don't have the skills then it is either learn them or employ someone with them
already told you exactly the image you need to replace etc
