Title: Order not changing from P to C VM 2.6.6
Post by: chill_e_g on October 17, 2014, 17:43:00 PM
Hi Guys

VM 2.6.6 with user.php patch as I cannot upgrade to 2.6.10 because of VP one page checkout ( but that is not what this is about, just filling you in )
Joomla 2.5.24

My orders are not being changed from P to C on the Payment Gateway option only. I have contacted PayFast. They sourced the error on the site as that is as much as they will tell me. See their comment below:
I have done several transactions, and yes, the order is not being set to the correct status on the Virtuemart side, but by editing the file I have traced the issue down to a function that is called from the Virtuemart side, and that is where it falls over. I can with certainty say that our plugin is working.

Hope someone can assist with this. Let me know what other info you may need.

Hello

It is difficult to help you. They have traced the problem, but they do not tell us where exactly is the problem.
I write the payment plugins for VM.
I have not changed anything in the plugins in 2.6.6 concerning the order update.

I feel quite alone in this matter, have no idea what to do about it. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

How can this be checked? I have loaded a test site with sandbox mode for PayFast. Can someone help debug? Please : http://test.scrapbookstudio.co.za

It is hard to imagine why they give you an answer like this!

QuoteI have done several transactions, and yes, the order is not being set to the correct status on the Virtuemart side, but by editing the file I have traced the issue down to a function that is called from the Virtuemart side, and that is where it falls over. I can with certainty say that our plugin is working.

Tell them to provide a much fuller answer - he is saying i know the answer but i ain't saying what it is...
