In despair ! Can someone help me please ?
A few months ago we updated VM to 2.6.2 and all was well. The site functioned and we could add products and children just fine.
Since a few days ago it has become almost impossible to add child products and we keep getting "Child product not created successfully" for no reason. After trying many times it eventually works.
I have spent countless hours going through suggestions in the forum to no avail. I have checked that there is a root vendor, updated the tables, checked the tables manually, replaced the vmtable.php file but the situation is still the same.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ?
I remember some other forum posts about this error, which afaik were solved by updating VirtueMart. I would suggest to create a copy of your live site from your current backup and use it to test if the update to VM 2.6.10 solves the problem.
