Good afternoon,
I'm new here, I hope to be putting the doubt in the right place.
I have intalled virtaumart 2.6.6 with joomla 2.5.24. Joomla is multilanguage, and virtuamart too, have 3 languages, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Whenever I create a new category or product, it writes the first language, but not the other, put the information there, I record and when I go back there, says to put again. insisting several times he writes there, what can be wrong? or will some delay recording the data in the tables virtuart? and if so, how to fix?
Did you follow all the steps required to configure a multilanguage shop available here?
http://docs.virtuemart.net/tutorials/multilingual-store/99-multilanguage-setup.html
Yes I followed all the steps , and it works , but is slow to record the categories in several languages is as if there were a delay , to save the information. And so I have to try several times to save . I've tried other joomla templates and works well , I'm using the theme of GavickPro Storebox , think it may be some kind of incompatibility ? According to them the template is prepared for Virtuamart . but I'm having many problems with virtuamart here ... I'm always restore backups , last night did not know how until the menu virtuamart disappeared . is getting complicated .. any ideas?
assume this is in the admin? GavickPro Storebox is only FrontEnd - will have no affect
Yes , it is the administration , what I mean is if there is a known incompatibility between this theme and the virtuamart , do exactly the same on other sites and it works very well , but here there is always this delay recording the data , reached a moment that simply crashes .. I'm using joomla 2.5 and 2.6 virtuamart ...
If your performance problem happens while working locally with for example xampp or mamp, it might be worth to check your php.ini settings and maybe disable xdebug (if enabled), increase memory_limit = to 128M, etc.

If it's not your template, check the server response time. (You can find many online tools for this in Google) Maybe that domain is hosted on a slow server along with 1000+ other domains.
