Hi,
Recently i am working on a site with joomla 2.5 and Virtue Mart 2.6.10 ,all is working fine except checkout.
When i add product to cart and check out, the page break to a white page,nothing happens no error.
I try to debug in code,consuming 2 days but no result.
Then i uninstall vm and install fresh vm with same version(Virtue Mart 2.6.10 )every thing is working fine.
Now the problem is that i have numbers of products ,categories in my vm store.I want to update db tables to add products in my new vm store.
After updating database of new vm,every table has data but they are not showing in store of vm.
If i manually update my cart it will take a month.
Any help will be appreciated.

would it not be faster just to ftp the VM files (FE & BE) to the old install from the new?
It was the vmfiles that were broken - not the DB
Would it possible at all to completely uninstall the current version of VirtueMart and just install the new version? Would this be a viable way around having to jump through the update and migrate hoops?
In theory yes - if u have no core hacks etc a simple re-install will just put all the VM files back to std latest
all your data etc won't be touched - try on a backup obviously

I debugged that, its not the issue with vm at all, but in the overrides file, in the templates.
Basically i forget about overrides files i don't know why.Any how problem solved.

I recently migrated from VM 1.0 to VM 2.0 and joomla 1.5.26 to joomla 2.5.27 .
I followed the migration process and used the VM 2.0 built in migrator for this purpose the data is migrated successfully But I am having issues with images they are broken .. They are there in the new site but link is broken also in the main menu for all virtuemart related menu items I get this error in 'Menu Item Type' in joomla 2.5.27 , this is because the menu item type is not selected for each virtuemart menu item , I have to manually select the menu item type and there are so many menus on my site.. Can someone plz help.

Is there any un piad solution . ?
I would look into some direct DB intervention to fix which is obviously just a id mismatch ..
