Title: [solved] Checkout Process - Option of no registration
Post by: smartsecurity on September 12, 2014, 14:17:55 PM
Hello,

my website is www.seattlesmartsecurity.com (http://www.seattlesmartsecurity.com), how do I make it so customers have the option of not registering when making a purchase?

On the checkout page, I already have these disabled

"On checkout, ask for registration" Disabled

"Only registered users can checkout" Disabled

Using VirtueMart 2.6.6 and Joomla! 2.5.24

To give both options you should enable "On checkout, ask for registration " then on the Billing details form at checkout they have the option of register and checkout or checkout as guest. That is the default, if using a commercial template or OPC then this may be different.

It still forces users to register at checkout, it may be my template then.
