Title: AIO Component redirects to admin control panel (2.9.9)

Just installed 2.9.9 and I noticed that when I go to "components" - "virtuemart aio" I get redirected to my Joomla admin control panel, is it supposed to work like this?

Thats right, here is no index.php content in the installed component. So you either get a 404 or a redirect.
