I'm using VM 2.6.6 to build online shop. I want to show "Shop" menu publicly, if visitors click "Shop" menu, promot them to login, the products only can be seen after login.
I searched threads, I found some similar questions, but no good solutions. I appreciate in advance if someone answer me, thanks.
Mod edit: impatient bump message removed. Please read http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=104795.0
make the shop menu to the login page/account creation and an explaination
then make all VM pages for registered users only
Thank you so much GJC. Your solution is good. But is it possible to put login and VM page on the same page?
don't understand what your asking- what is a VM page? You said you wanted only registered members to see VM pages so why do you need a login?
Sorry about my bad English. I want to show shop menu to the public, if somebody click shop menu, they need to login before they see all the products. As I have only 10 products, to keep it simple, I want login form and products look like on the same page. Login then see the items. Hope my explanation is clear now.

sorry - clear as mud...no idea -
If you want some sort of info just edit the login template -
Quotelogin page/account creation and an explaination
That's okay, thanks for your reply.
It is an override with an extra line. Very simple actually. Check the frontpage layout and the cart layout.
