Title: Registration conflict ?
Post by: alain1 on August 05, 2014, 09:06:46 AM
Hi !
I need help !
My configuration is : Joomla 2.5.24 , Virtuemart 2.6.2 et PHP 5.3.27
I'm suspecting a major bug or conflict between the joomla registration module and virtuemart registration module.
Nobody is able to register on my website, after filling the form in the front end, and using the username and password choosed, an error message appear.
But....if i  create a client account in the back-end, everything is working fine
:o
how to solve this ?
heeeeeeeeeelp !
:)

crystal ball not working today - so unless we start a guessing game together might help to mention the error, the site url, what you have found in the logs etc etc etc

you have a jquery error that is probably failing the rest of the Javascript

TypeError: jQuery(...).corner is not a function

jQuery('.section').corner('keep bevel   bl br 20px');

Try with the std Beez template to check

then search on here for JS conflict debugging

Ok, i've tried the Beez template : nothing change.
And now (without modifing anything), 've got this message in the login module, in the front end :

Another plugin has redirected the page on login, Please check your plugins system
here my list of plug ins:
(the published one is green)
Authentification - Joomla          authentication    joomla    Accès Public    401
Authentification - Gmail          authentication    gmail    Accès Public    400
Authentification - LDAP          authentication    ldap          Accès Public    402

so your saying Joomla registration is broken?

I would disable those 2 plugins for a starter
