Title: Display Cash on Delivery payment method only if a cart variant is selected?

Hello Members & Developers.

is it possible to display payment method (COD)  only if someone select product variant eg:
a product has option like : 1kg, 2kg , 3kg, 4kg so if user select 2,3 or 4 kg then in cart it should display COD available else other methods.

if anyone have any idea then please do share it with me.

Hack the standard payment module to check the weight as one of the conditions?
