That's my first post, and... I'm Italian, so forgive me for my bad english :D
first of all I've a problem with SEF alias "vmError: VmTableData Sef Alias in record is missing! Can't save the record with no Sef Alias" but I've read that is related to an out-of-date php version (mine in 6.2.17 or something similar) so I've requested to the hosting the update of php at least at 5.3 version.
But I've another problem, and I don't know if it's related to the question just described, I have not a url for every category but only for subcategory.
For example, if I click on a category, in the URL it's only displayed "shop" (in italian "negozio") and not "clothes", but if I click on a subcategory it's correctly displayed "Men clothes"...
What's going on? How can I resolve? I home someone can help me... I'm sure it's not a hard question but surely there's something I'm missing...

Hmmm -- struggling to understand.. :-\ but...
Is the category with "negozio" your top category and the name of the root VM menu item?
If so what do you want to see there?
