Once a product is clicked on for a detailed view I would like a dropdown or radio button for a customer who buys an item but wants it "stored" rather than sent to him. Essentially for selling jewelry and coins online some customers don't want delivery but rather want us to "hold" the item ( especially coins ) with the option of taking delivery later.
A coin may be worth more ( or less ) later on and they may wish to sell it back to us in a years time. We would need to charge annual "storage fees" plus a margin / commission but it would be good to have some way of updating the database with the users account details and the item / items stored from the shopping cart if possible.
I have played around with "custom fields" but can't really see where / how this could be done.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
