Hi,
My product is a paper magazine. I sometimes have clients (grandparents for example) that want to buy a magazine for each of their grandchildren. Each grandchild lives in different address.
Is it possible - in the checkout process or when adding to cart to add a specific delivery address to each of the products?
Thanks
Short answer no... the addresses are tied to orders/clients .. not ordered products
wouldn't it be simpler to provide a delivery address input on the actual product page as custom fields etc?
Thanks for your reply :)
I think the custom fields option is the most reasonable. Unless there's a way to choose a delivery address on the Add To Cart stage- so you click Add To Cart and it opens a popup before adding to the cart with a delivery address option??
Not natively - would have to be coded
OK - here's my solution :
Install Breezing Forms and then download and install Breezing Forms Custom Fields plugin from : http://www.polishedgeek.com
Then follow documentation : http://docs.polishedgeek.com/wiki/display/BF/Introduction+to+Breezing+Forms+Plugin
What you get is a form on the product page. That way each product can have it's own delivery address.
