Title: Free Shipping Problem

Hello,

We are just setting up our new site with a range of products. We currently have six shipping methods. Methods 1-5 charge different amounts, based on the total weight of the products in the basket.

The sixth option is a pick-up option. If a customer decides to pick-up their products from the shop, they can do this for free.

Unfortunately, the web site keeps saying 'Free Shipping' next to some of the products in the store. Any idea why this might be?

ON the product details page? Or where?
Shipping plugin is not invoked until checkout.

Hi Kelvin,

The 'Free Shipping' is being shown on the category page, under each item. But it is only happening for one product category. Each product in that category is being displayed with 'Free Shipping' underneath the product. No other categories are doing this.

That is not a default VirtueMart function, so maybe you are using a commercial template or add-on with the "free shipping" coded in?

Yes, you were right! Thank you.

I am now having problems that I cannot add certain items to the cart, despite it saying that 1000 items are in stock. Grrrr....   :0)
