Title: Virtuemart Component Missing in back end after upgrade to latest version

I am running Joomla 2.5.19 with Virtuemart 2.0.26d
I just tried to upgrade to latest 2.6.0 but the Virtuemart Component in the backend has disappeared and I cannot open virtuemart
Please advise as to what I can do to get the component showing again in the backend

Hi Kelvyn,
Thank you for your reply, however, it seems those three links reference disabling Xmap but I'm not using Xmap - I use JSitemap Pro and disabling that does not make a difference.
If it helps when I try to install the extension from 2.0.26d to 2.6.0 I get this error message:

-1 - An error has occurred.

Copy failed

Return to Control Panel

...The AIO installed with a success message
