The current installation was 2.026 with php5.2
Now the new version is 2.6 with 5.3 as requirement.

I updated the php to 5.3 version, but when I click on Update VM, it does nothing.

Is there any patch that can be used for update.

Just download the latest version and install it over your version. It will do the update smoothly

Must be PHP5.3.10 minimum. Use the Joomla Extentions installer to update. http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=99127
