Post by: Valdez360 on April 07, 2014, 11:18:32 AM
The Add to cart button disappears when product details page is viewed from US. OK for Europe. OK for every other country. Why. Has anyone ever seen this before? Any suggestions?

Template is Nextor

Rupostel iplocator
EU VAT ID CHECKER
Auto Currency Switcher

2.0.26d

No, I haven't seen that before. But when I enter your site (assuming you are talking about your Plasmids website) and enable the Firefox 'Firebug' plugin in my browser, it shows a syntax and a javascript problem. If I enter the same product page via a U.S. proxy, it shows the "Ask a question about this product" button and Firebug displays a lot of errors and it seems that jQuery is not loaded for some reason.

So I would suggest to use 'Firebug' to investigate your problems. https://getfirebug.com/downloads (https://getfirebug.com/downloads)

Many many thanks for your reply jjk.

It is only the currency auto selector that is causing this symptom. If I manually change the currency with the VM manual selector it is ok. Is there an alternative plugin anywhere that does the same thing?

Maybe you can ask the developer of the auto currency selector to look at the problem and eventually fix it.
Don't know if there are others. But you could use VM's manual currency selector module in the meantime.
