I need to change product creation date, so i can sort products in category view in a custom order... i cannot find any option to edit or even show product creation date in backend, i can only sort by creation date.
Is there any way to have control over creation date of products?
Alternatively, can i sort products in a custom order in backend and use this order to present products in frontend category view?
Btw, i'm using vm 2.0.26d with latest joomla 2.5.x

Maybe you already founded the answer but this could be useful anyway for others.
On the today 2.6.0a VM you can change that only from the database in the virtuemart_products under created_on
