Title: Can't update Custom Field in back-end when Read-Only is Yes

Hi,

Same as subject.
The issues that the only way can update the Custom Field in Front-end when the Read-Only is No.

Is it possible update the Custom Field in back-end,even the Read-Only is Yes?

Virtuemart 2.0.26d
Joomla 2.5.17

hmm you are right, should work in the BE of course.

But in fact it is meant so, that an employed should be able to use it, but not to change it.

Also in the BE, only administrators should be able to change it, not just editors. I checked the code, for me it seems it should work always in the BE

I'm not sure why it doesn't work before.I check it again and the read only field can save in BE right now.

Hello there,

I am also having the same problem, unable to update the custom field from back-end in the Order Page having admin login also

using Joomla! 2.5.17 and Virtuemart 2.0.26d

Is there any way to update the custom field ???
