Title: Is VM compatible with Jmoola 3?

Hi,

I'm new to VM and I wanted to know if the latest version of VM is compatible with the latest version Jmoola which is 3?

Hi, Thanks for your reply, I found the thread slightly confusing.

Q1, Are you saying I should use Jmoola 2.5 with the latest version of VM?

Q2. Then J3 becomes stable with VM upgrade then?

Q3. How easy is it to upgrade from J2.5 to J3 without breaking VM when installed on J2.5, any directions or leads will be great.

1. Yes, J2.4.17 with VM2.0.26d

2. Experienced users will wait for proven stability. The 3 series is not there yet as "features" are still being added. There is now talk that release of a 3.3 version will happen soon, with 3.5 maybe being later than expected.

3. Upgrade of J2.5 to J3 is relatively easy, the only tricky part for some could be updating the template, but many commercial templates are now sold in J2.5 and J3.x versions. An update script for VM2.0.x to 2.1/2.2 is already made and working.
