Hello there:
I just moved my previously working Virtuemart 2 shop from my local server to a new VPS.
I used Akeeba backup and kickstarter.php to to the export and installation.
At first, the site did not working, saying that Page Could Not Be Found, /en/. I fixed that issue by switching off SEF, and clearing the cache in my Firefox browser.
Now though, I've noticed that my product detail pages are blank. In php.ini, my mem_limit was set to 128M, but I just increased it to 256M, restarted Apache, but the issue remains.
Does anybody have any suggestions what else I could try to fix this?

I have moved at least 100 sites with Akeeba and never had a problem.
Make sure the paths are correct in Configuration/Templates, although the only likely issue is with Safe Path but that should not result in a blank page.
Check the server error log file as the cause may be recorded there. http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=62675.0

Thank you for your reply. I have no idea why a simple copy won't work using Akeeba method.
