Title: Meta title homepage problem

Hello,

I'm using joomla 2.5.11 and virtuemart 2.0.20

I've tried to change homepage meta title from backend menu -> mainmenu -> home -> page view options -> browser title page

if I insert any word in the frontend the browser title remains home.

Where am I wrong?
