I have a joomla 2.5.9 version site with Virtuemart 2.0.18a. I have noticed that when creating a new product under the Product Information Tab when I save the new item and come back to edit it again it doesn't seem to save the values under the Product pricing section is this normal? Just curious.

First you should update your insecure versions of Joomla and VirtueMart. http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=118683.0
If you enter a product base price then yes, it should be saved, unless you are not logged in as Vendor.
