Hi guys,

Can anyone help me figure what's wrong with my shopping cart? I can add products to the cart, but when I click view cart, it redirects me back to the homepage. I've piled through pages and pages of support and faq's for the past few hours and I finally resorted to asking for help.

first thing I see on your home page is

Category id 0 not published

maybe that has something to do with itß have you a menu to VM?

GJC,

I read about adding a menu to VM but I'm not quite sure what that means exactly. I'm new to Joomla as a CMS and am having to force myself to pick this up rather quickly.

somewhere, visible or hidden, doesn't matter... u need a Joomla menu to Virtuemart - make it with the normal Joomla menu process - normally most call it Shop..

Menu Item Type -> Virtuemart->Front page

or can be VirtueMart -> Category Layout : Top Level category

I followed your instructions on adding Virtue Mart Front Page to the menu but it doesnt appear to have made any difference to the category ID 0 :(
