currently: Joomla 2.5.11 & VirtueMart 2.0.24, but I'm looking for a solution for this and future versions.
I'm using the account maintenance page to get users to sign up for the site, so that we capture all the relevant shopper details. How do I track someone has signed up so I can set up a goal in Google Analytics? The account maintenance URL is the same whether a shopper is unregistered or logged in.
Any advice gratefully received...

We've already purchased an extension to add the GA code into the sites and it's tracking ecommerce transactions nicely. What I want is to determine how to track account signups. I just need to know how to differentiate between a guest and a logged in visitor by URL.
I'm not unwilling to purchase another extension if it really is required, but surely this is a problem that's been encountered before? The search in the JED produced a small handful of results, none of which seemed appropriate.
