Title: Client wants a different 'add to cart' setup.
Post by: daviat on October 30, 2013, 18:17:58 PM
Hi,

My client wants to overhaul the way Virtuemart shows the add to cart process. They like the look below . . .
http://www.galeton.com/personal-safety/personal-protective-wear/disposable-coveralls-clothing/

They don't want the dropdowns for sizing and they want the clickable icons to order each product. Is that something that Virtuemart can do?

Each product size has a different shipping cost and a different sku so they think the separate order icons would be better. Any ideas?

thanks

Never seen a store set up like that before, but I think that could be done with a load of time invested in writing extensive template overrides and probably some JavaScript. For example you can use category display with add to cart for each product displayed on the page.  A lot depends on your skill level (or whether you can attract a programmer to do it for you).
