I am using Joomla 2.5 and Virtumart 2 with the standard paypal plugin.
My website, when confirming my purchase does not redirect to paypal. I have been working on it all day and seriously need help.

First you say "My State / Province / Region * is not working" & "I can't register or checkout". Then "confirming my purchase does not redirect to paypal."
As state dropdown does work for me I assume the latter is your problem? Possibly an issue with your onepage checkout?

Joomla 2.5 and Virtumart 2 is not at all helpful. Which precise versions?

I fixed the issue with the state issue. Now when confirming my purchase, my website does not redirect to paypal.
I am using Joomla! 2.5.14 and Virtuemart 2.0.24, I also took off the onepage plugin and it still doesn't work with the the standard virtuemart.
