Hi guys,

I have Joomla 2.5.14 with Virtuemart 2.0.22c - but I have a bit of a problem. Could someone help please?

When people buy an item from my website, my stock levels don't reduce.

So if I have 3 items in stock, and someone buys one, my website will still show that there are 3 items in stock.

Can anyone advise how to set up my Virtuemart so that when someone buys an item, it then reduces the amount available to buy to other people?

I'm very new to Virtuemart so i'm a little unsure as to how to set up the auto-stock control feature.

Update VirtueMart to 2.0.24 and check if you have the same issue.

Hi

I had a same problem and I found it was only the matter of settings.
So what I did was:

Configuration /Order statuses/ edit appropriate order status (the one that you use as final stage of complete order) - you will find appropriate Stock settings there (if status makes product only book, or removes stock...)
