I have a big problem :-\
I worked 3 & 4 weeks on a website with virtuemart. These was a sub domain from cloudaccess.net and they run linux hosting.
Now everything is ready, but i can't install virtuemart. They give my much errors. The hosting that we are using is windows hosting not linux and that was the problem.
Can anyone help me please ?
Joomla can be made to run on a Windows server as long as PHP and MySQL are available. I have no experience of Win, having always used Linux servers, but there is some support and advice on http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=623&t=715473
If Joomla2.5 runs OK then VirtueMart2 should do as well, subject to the PHP version being suitable.
If this is a new host, then you probably need to ask your hosting to increase your PHP memory limit. When we moved, the default php memory limit was too low and when I clicked on some of my product categories, I would get an error. Might help, good luck.
