Title: Live update problem
Post by: raunhar on October 14, 2013, 07:23:31 AM
I have Virtue mart 2.0.20B. When I click on Update to new version, I get the following error:
Invalid Token, in store config

What should be done.

PHP version is 5.3.27

That is come from either the Akeeba code used for liveupdate, which cannot handle certain file packages, or from Akeeba backup trying to set a restore point. The solution is to use Joomla's extensions manager to install the updates. Get the files from http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/files

I had installed a Quick Start package, so if I upload the files from other source, the design will be lost.

At the bottom of the page the following is showing up:

Powered by Akeeba Live Update

Any form of update will overwrite the existing default files, but not any override files which are used in yr QS package. But override files may need some recoding anyway. See the second paragraph in http://virtuemart.net/news/latest-news/446-important-security-release-vm-team-at-joomladay-germany

The files are the same whether though the "live" updater or from the VM file repository. As with any update, you8 should first test it on a backup copy of your site.
