Using J 2.5.14 and VM 2.0.22c

The past days I get new shopper registrations on websites running vm in the catalogue mode and with the registration module not displayed.

is this a little bug or just missing some settings?

This is usually spambots (or hackers) accessing Joomla's registration directly by url. Once they find accessible live sites they don't stop unless you take action. Protecting registration with a captcha is usually all that is needed, but if you don't require user registration then turn it off in Joomla's user manager.

Thanks for the answer. Already turned joomla registration of now. Hope that stops it.
