After an attempt to update VirtueMart, which did not appear to work (error message), our site now gives the error: Fatal error: Call to undefined method VirtueMartModelUserfields::fieldPublished() in /home3/bmacphee/public_html/plugins/vmshipment/weight_countries/weight_countries.php on line 246 when a client tries to subscribe.

I'm only a beginner with Joomla & VirtueMart - any assistance appreciated:
VirtueMart: 2.0.22c
Joomla 2.5.4
PHP: 5.2.17

Sorry, I did not make a note of the error message. However, I just noticed the following: Very important security release. Update ASAP. Please do not use the liveupdater. Just use the liveupdater to download the files, but not for installation. Just use hte normal installation routine provided by joomla. Also you should disable for a clean installation the akeeba installer in case you use it. We are sorry, but we had not the time yet to replace the liveupdater with a better system. I believe that I was using the liveupdater. How does one use the liveupdater to download the files? I have not used this type of update before.

Update VM using regular Joomla installation routine.
