Title: can save product details , cannot save configuration

virtuemart version 2.0.22c

PHP Version    5.2.6-1+lenny16

Joomla! 2.5.14 Stable

When press save(not save and close) on configuration "/administrator/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&view=config" ,
it return to the welcome page of admin "administrator/index.php"
and cannot save the options.

However, product information can be saved.

Any hints to the problem? Thanks.

You could try more newer versions (check Dev Portal at the top of current page).

What 3rd party extensions do you have?

Could be a problem. Can you not upgrade to PHP 5.3+?    - the recommended version for Joomla 2.5 is 5.3+  & absolute minimum for VM2.0.22 is probably 5.2.17
