Hello, the Virtuemart cart in my site stopped working all of sudden. I didn't do touch it or install anything. Can someone help me, please?
I'm using Joomla 2.5 and VM 2.0.20b
Regards
There is a JavaScript issue on page load:
index.php, line 2 character 1
SCRIPT438: Object doesn't support property or method 'addEvent'
And then on add to cart a different error:
SCRIPT7002: XMLHttpRequest: Network Error 0x2f78, Could not complete the operation due to error 00002f78.
index.php
Which is a server error.
Unable to go any further than that as you are using a template with multiple overrides and a non-standard cart module. You may wish to ask the template developer about the problem, but also find out if the host changed anything on the server.
I have also problems with this. Checkout is not working. Info telling that the checkout page is not existing. I have not done any change.
go to cart from main page have the same problem and also selection of shipping and payment givs the same result.
joomla 2.5.8
VM 2.0.22c
Tried to go back to older version, but no change :-(
please help

You did make a backup before updating, did you? Also, you would do yourself a favour if you would test updates on a copy of your live shop first.

The problem is that there are many many things to test before being really sure that nothing is broken . Maye an appropriate Test suit may be needed to check everything in authomatic
I have upgraded my local test to 2.0.24 and I can't add product to cart. Is my fault, update fault or what else ? how can I understand?
Thanks
I have even repeated the installation localy and upgraded again to be sure, and in this second trial, the product page is completely hidden :((
In such cases using the Firefox plugin 'Firebug' often helps to locate the problem. As mentioned by Jenkinhill above already, it frequently happens that third party templates which include 'hacks' of VM code are not yet adjusted to the latest VM release.
...you may check if you have the same problem when you temporarily switch to one of the Joomla default templates.
@ereallstaff: URL?
@maxdeal: update your Joomla.
Hi,
Joomla is telling me that I have the latest version.
"You already have the latest Joomla! version, 2.5.14."
Still the same for me :-(
- Can not go to last ordering page (not existing)
- Can not open any invoice. (Not the new and not the old.)
What 3rd party extensions do you have?
