Hi there, I am in need of some serious help here. I need to update the Virtuemart on one of my sites, unfortunately it's on 1.2 and I need to get to VM 2 asap.
Is there any advice on upgrading from that version?

1.2b was an unofficial release and not supprted here. You should ask about migration possibilities on http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/vm11j25/forum/

I suspect the db will be similar to 1.1.9 so migration to VM2.0.22 may work - but not something I have done.
