I hope I have posted this in the correct area.
I have a client who wants to have logged in individual customers only see the products made for them and not to be able to see other clients products. He has over 100 clients who are major retailers and he manufacturers different custom furniture for each client. Can VirtueMart handle something like this?
I have tried Virtuemart Rules in a older version of Virtuemart but it just didn't work and slowed the website down to a crawl. I would be using VM 2 for this project.
Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. :-\

No only the specific products manufactured for a client can be seen by that client and that client only. No other customer can be allowed to see another clients products.

You could try to assign customer group for each specific product.
1 group for 1 client.
You can make products visible only to specific shopper groups and only seen when logged in. This does mean using a pre-registration system to allocate a shopper group, but that will work, and they will only see their own products. I have one wholesaler client who uses pre-registration with shopper group specific pricing. They are happy with the system.
