VM 2.022a Joomla 2.5.11

I'm trying to understand how this works, why does VM set my image titles as you can see in the images adding .jpg_product_product when files have unique names.
I'm a bit lost, in spanish it says
left= file title
right= File name
So I don't really know what is the title and the filename, cause actually the filename is the one on the right but the jpg appears on the left column
