Hello everyone, really glad to be here!!
I am a helpless noob in virtuemart and have some issues..
currently, i am trying to set up a product order page which lists the products in a table, with the product details in the same row, custom fields added and an "add to cart" button.
it should look something like the jpg i attached to this post.
also i would like to see the shopping cart updated the moment the add to cart button is pressed, now it only updates the cart after a page refresh or when i navigate to another page in my site.
this is the link to the site i am building and i would like to combine the custom fields on the product pages with a category view and add to cart button:
http://familyoostzaan.nl/index.php/catering/patat-frites
i found a site which has it almost like i want it, except for the custom fields options..: http://kunstvoorkunst.com/index.php/bestellen/snacks
thanks you so much for your help.
on the jpg i repeated a single product, on the actual page it will be different products listed together ;-)

Welcome on board, Jendayi!
Check sticked threads in this forum section. You could find there adding addtocart button (with custom fields ofc) for the category page.
You could also check Virtuemart settings on your web site. In payment section there's an option for turning off redirecting to the cart page ("after a page refresh or when i navigate to another page in my site").
Regards.
