Title: Price Code help?
Post by: rayge on July 03, 2013, 18:17:10 PM
I have a client that requires the use of a PRICE CODE for each price record.
In the business they are in an ASI Pricing code is required for some items.

a reference to this is below
http://support.asicentral.com/esponline/profitmargin.htm

This price code can change depending on the shopping group and the product.
I am trying to figure out how to handle this since those 2 items are what is related.

for example:
If you are in shopping group A then product 1 may have an ASI Pricing code of R
Where as someone else in shopping group 2 might have an ASI Pricing code of N

these codes needs to be displayed on the product page for the respected shopper group.
How might I get this added to they Joomla system? How might i get this to work?

you can set discounts per shopper group etc.

then, you can echo anything you want on the front end based on shopper group.

You just need to display it right? The code?

Well unfortunately shopper group 1 might have a price code for product 1 and different one for product 3 and then shopper group 2 might have different ones from that for the same products.
I can try the calculation rules again but it didnt seem to help. maybe what i do is code in to check for the calculation rule record as a method to figure out the price code for the display on the page?

have you looked at the multiple price feature ?

you can name the discounts the price code,. and then assign them by shopper group via the backend of the product
