Don't bump - if someone has some information they will answer you. If not you may have to purchase a plugin.
This is not a bad thing it helps VM supporters stay in business. :'(

I understand its good to supporter developers, and you have money..but if I dont have money right now? this is a simple plugin, and know there is more than one opation for free.. looks like no one recommend no one, so I have to buy one... looks like that, sorry..
I don't know of any free product scroller modules (and there now over 100 third party developers building addons for VM2) - they do take many hours to program so it is only fair to pay whoever develops an addon something for his time, as developers have to eat too, just like shop owners.
Is a dedicated product scroller necessary? there are plenty of Joomla slideshow programs out there which are "free" or very cheap. Not too much work to set one of those up with product images & links to a product details page. Could look more professional too with good graphics. Have a look through the JED.
