Hello,
I am getting since today notifications about available updates.
It's a good thing if it wouldn't be for the version 1.2.0
I don't know if this is related to joomla or VM.
Joomla 2.5.11
VM 2.0.20b
what?
post a screenshot, I dont get that
Here are some creenshots. I have VM 2.0.20b installed and I have no idea why an update for 1.2.0 is showing up.

if you look at the url in that picture,
I assume you do not have a native virtuemart version ?
Looks like a 3rd party version
No, it is original downloaded from virtuemart.net
so the template is from the other guys?
do you know expertcms?
No, template is own. Nothing is from the "other guys"!
what happens when you click
"purge cache" at the top of the page
It disappears and as soon I click on the main admin page it is back.

I dont know what to tell, you
expertcms is Joseph Kwan's site, developer of rhe unofficial VM1.2 version, which was/is VM1.1.9 modified to install on Joomla 2.5. So I sssume you had that version installed at some stage?
Yes of course- It was recommended before migrating from joomla 1.5 and vm into v 2.5 and vm 2.0.20

recommended by who?
jupgrade. They recommended before migrating to update or better install the patch 1.1.9 if running a previous version. I had 1.1.8 installed so I patched it to 1.1.9.
well, its too late now.
but no you didnt have to do it that way.
Now I need to find a way to get tis note out of the system.
